Principal’s Message
Hello McKinley Tigers!
My name is Shannon Bancroft and I am honored to be the Principal of McKinley Elementary School. The 2023-2024 school year will be my 25th year in education. I began my career as a substitute teacher and then taught High School English for 10 years. I served as Assistant Principal at West High School for 7 years and at George Kelley School for 1 year before joining the McKinley Family. When I am not at work, my husband and I enjoy traveling and camping with our three children and love watching them participate in their sports and activities.
All of us at McKinley are excites for the opportunity to work with you and your student to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment. I wish your family, and especially your student, great success this school year. GO TIGERS!!
